Ri and I are both animal lovers with a Persian (Puss) and one pit (Aria) mix already in the family. But on a chilly day late last fall Ri said, “look how cute these pugs are…” and the rest was history.

We also thought if one pug is good, two must be awesome. We also chose two females because the ‘marking territory’ isn’t a problem like it can be with males. So, we go in our car in December and drove to pick up our two new family members to give our children for Christmas in 2021. We tried to hold the surprise until Christmas morning but hiding two highly energetic pugs was impossible. The kids cried and we have Pugslee (chunky) and JB (female warrior).
